About Us

MBBL, since 2020

Musicians Beyond Barlines Society (MBBL) is a not-for-profit organisation aimed at spreading the universal beauty and strength of music to its community in the Greater Vancouver area. MBBL's fundraising goal has primarily been to benefit the Canuck Place Children's Hospice, a care facility for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. To realise this goal, MBBL has offered Kids for Kids tutoring, provided summer and winter camps on theory, history, and jazz, organised competitions and festivals, hosted live-streamed concerts, and released podcasts.

In July 2021, MBBL registered as a not-for-profit organisation (charity) with BC Societies under the name Musicians Beyond Barlines Society.
